Through the murmurs that preceded, he hears a voice sweeter than HTB bun say “Hush baby, you alright?” Now with a reason to open his eyes, he opens them slowly to a blurry purple figure. The figure became more defined as he realizes who is in front of him, Joy, the Air Jamaica flight attendant. Joy helps him up and escorts them to their seats, Craig is still stunned for words. Though the plane still deh pon the ground, he felt as if he was being led by an angel.
Elaine and Craig sit.
Joy: “You need some ice, baby?” Craig:
Joy:
Elaine: “Yes thank you...(looks for name tag)... Joy: - “Joy.”
Elaine: “Joy”, with a smile.
Joy goes to the kitchen to get the ice.
Craig:
Elaine looks at her loverboy son and rolls her eyes.
Elaine: “You need fi talk up man. You alight? A muss when we a go forrin you manage fi get one cocoa pon yuh forrid”
Joy returns and places the ice bag on Craig’s forehead.
Elaine: “So you nah seh thanks to Miss Joy?”
Craig: “Th-thank you.., M-iss Joy.” mumbled and shy.
As Joy walked away, Craig looked around and realized there were other flight attendants, and they ALL are just as beautiful. Craig felt he must be in the lobby of heaven.
